Green Trees Early Learning Centre was first established in 2019, when an early childhood teacher wanted to develop a high-quality and promising educational centre for children in the local community.
We are committed to providing a safe and interactive learning environment for children across all ages and all levels of development. Our educational program is designed to best suit the needs of individuals, and also encouraging children to actively participate in group activities.
At Green Trees Early Learning Centre's, we love to work with children, families and educators coming from different backgrounds. We pride ourselves on our close relationships with our families and local community.
Our Philosophy
At Green Trees Early Learning Centre, we strive to provide high quality education and care in which children, families and educators feel valued, safe and pleasant.
Children are individuals with unique talents, interests, capabilities and needs. These qualities should be nurtured in order to develop each child’s personality and talents to the full. Children should also be involved and respected in the decision making related to their own education and development (UN Convention on the Rights of the Child).
We are aware of the diverse cultural backgrounds which children, families and educators come from. We strive for diversity and believe that all children, families and educators should be treated with care, respect, fairness and equity. We will adopt and act in accordance with the Early Childhood
Australia Code of Ethics.
We believe having a strong, secure and trusted relationship with family is vital. We value family as child’s first and most important teacher, and also our valuable co-worker. We see the significant and positive impact of having respectful communication with family. We value family’s belief, ideas and feelings, and take that into consideration when developing programs for children.Therefore, our goal is to enrich children’s learning by working in partnership with families and the wider community to ensure the learning goals set for children are achieved.
Children’s learning is dynamic, complex and holistic. Learning should be meaningful and engaging for children. We believe, young children learn the best in a play base and stimulating environment. At Green Trees, children are encouraged to develop their own ways to learn and explore, as well as finding their own meaning of the world.
